Forward fuel tank bulkhead removed for better access

Left Firewall removed and ready for overhaul

Firewall ready to remove

Firewall removed

Starting to remove everything else behind the firewall

There are lots of small hard to get to parts

AND lots of rivets to remove

The process of cleaning and stripping the spar begins

Rust can be seen on the top of the spar

With everything removed the rust becomes apparent

All the rust found has been minor surface rust

This landing gear cluster had seen a previous repair in teh 60's.

The welds were very bad and will be removed and repaired.

The gussets are not correct per Beech drawings

Beech has full instructions on how to repair this area correctly.

A new x brace was installed due to corrosion

The tail area was prepared, primed and painted and needs one more top coat

Center console was removed to provide better access to under floor tubing

This skin will be replaced due to sand blast damage
