This B-29 tail section was acquired from the New Mexico Wing in Hobbs New Mexico. We intend to restore the artifact to as close to original condition as possible and then to mount it on a towable trailer in order to take this wonderful artifact to air shows around the state for educational and fund raising purposes. 

This group of pictures shows the B-29 tail arriving at our Double Eagle II hangar after the trip from Hobbs.

This is a picture of the tail mounted on it future trailer frame and placed on a auto trailer for the move to our new facility in Moriarty.

These are some photo's showing the overall condition of the Tail and the amount or work required to return it to show condition.

Lots of rust, Lots of bad wire and lots and broken parts.
