Link
Trainer
The Wing acquired this Link Trainer Project in December 2004 and
it now resides in our restoration facility awaiting a much needed
restoration. This is a very exciting project and an incredible piece
of aviation history. |

PT-26
The Wing spent 12 years restoring our 1942
Fairchild PT-26Cornell.
During that time the Wing had to move the aircraft twice. Due to the
closure of the Wing’s home airport a major move to a cross-town
airport was undertaken. As this was the Wing’s first major
project, mistakes were made during the restoration process and many
lessons were learned. These lessons will be applied to our next
projects.

Willys Jeep This is our 1952 Jeep that was donated to the Lobo's. The jeep has
undergone a near complete restoration and need only a small amount
of work to be finished. It has been refitted with a rebuilt Ford
Pinto engine and transmission. |

Ramp Scooter
The wing acquired a ramp scooter from the New
Mexico Wing that was built at the Hobbs AAF during the 1940,1950
Time frame. The scooter is made up of spare parts from various
aircraft including an APU or GPU that is used to power the unit.
This scooter is currently being researched and restoration work has
begun.

AT-11
Kansan
The AT-11 is a WWII bombardier trainer. Our particular AT-11 was
stationed in Albuquerque during 1941 and 1942 and was used
extensively for training. We acquired this aircraft in 2002 and
moved it from Michigan to New Mexico. It is now undergoing
restoration at Moriarty facility.

B-29
Tail Section
The wing acquired a B-29 tail section that we
are restoring and mounting on a trailer. It is our intent to bring
this to air shows for a memorial display and to use for a fund
raising activity by taking pictures of children in the rear gunner
position. The remainder of the time the tail section will be
displayed in the museum.

Moriarty

Facility
The hangar was purchased and constructed in 2004 and is now being
finished on the interior. We are adding heat, lighting, bathrooms, a
meeting room parts storage and a workshop. We hope to be finished in
the spring of 2005 so work can resume on our other projects.
