Here are a few photos of fellow Lobos who attended the Commemorative Air Force 50th anniversary event in Las Vegas, Nevada. The wing was well represented and a great time was had by all. Our favorite picture below is the one we took with Margie Stewart Johnson. Margie was the U.S. Army poster girl during WWII. They printed almost 94 million posters of Margie. Margie also appeared in the movie “Bombardier” which was filmed at Kirtland Army Airfield. At 87 she still looks fabulous and was a real joy. Margie was signing posters to help raise money for the American Airpower Heritage Museum in Midland, Texas. We have lots of great stories so just stop one of us and ask for all the details.
