This aircraft is recreated as delivered to the Cuban Air Force. Only the Cubans and the Chinese had AT-11s with both the Crocker Wheeler gun turret and the bomb racks. There is almost no room in these models to maneuver. I don’t know that the interior colors are accurate. The bright gloss white, although beautiful, doesn’t seem right. The grey gloss exterior may also be correct. The person responsible for the restoration of this aircraft has passed away and no one at the museum seems to know the whole story. This is a sad, but valuable, lesson for us to remember: Document everything! Click on the thumbnails to view the gallery. Use your browser back button to return to this page.
